I gotta agree though, in a way that's not at all related to the loveliness of DDK, Jin is the character I'm the least invested in.
Yeah, I have the same thing. I want the actor to have work, but I wouldn't mind the character leaving at all.

Oh, Boone has to stay and bitch at his sister, and fight with Jack, and get in everyone's way. I kind of liked him at first because he seemed like a Good Guy, but I understand some of the annoyance. I don't want him to die cause I like seeing sibling relationships on television.
Someone over at TwoP mentioned that Walt's character will be problematic in the coming seasons if the island-time continues to tickle on slower compared to ours, because the actor is gonna grow, and grow SOON. One way to deal with this would be to kill off Walt (NOOOO!).
Oooh, right, cause he's twelve, and oof. I share your NOOOO! I like Walt, and I like his dog, and I like his relationship with Michael. I think I may share Dan Kwa's hope that Michael does turn out to be no more than an estranged father, and not some weird kidnapper person. I've liked Michael's attempts to connect with Walt, and the scene where Walt watched his dad be a cave stability badass was so nice. To quote Dan Kwa--oops, that recap was Daniel:

She's sunning on the beach. She's going to give birth on a desert island with only the aid of a dubious doctor and no epidural! And an invisimechanosaur!

One thing I've noticed watching Lost eps again today is how friggin' gorgeous the show is. Especially the vibrantly verdant hills and mountains.
Oh yeah. And there have been a couple of amazing ocean shots as well, like when Jack swam out to save the drowning woman (after rescuing Boone) and the camera panned up for a near-panoramic view of the beach and the clear blue-and-green ocean. Very cool.
You know, I think the person I'd most like to see die is Jack. First of all, I find he's the least interesting character to me, and also, it would have a HUGE impact on everyone else, and there would be a struggle for dominance and maybe shifting of alliances, and I think it would be awesome to shake things up more.
