Heh. Me neither, Vonnie, but I snicker all the same.
Lost: OMGWTF POLAR BEAR
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I don't get it.
Jack was supposed to die in the pilot anyway. Now he will DIE AFTER HIS TIME.
I don't get it.
There used to be poster on Buffistas board back in the Table Talk days named Hellish, who was famous for pure-hearted hatred of certain characters. IIRC, those included Dawn and... Tara, I think? Out of blue, he'd, like, descend on the board while they were talking about something totally innocuous, and imperiously proclaim, "Dawn must DIE!". So his name is invoked when one wants to declare a character uninteresting/useless/annoying, and whose gruesome demise is something devoutly to be wished. Or so the story goes--I've never personally "met" the guy, as he was before my time.
Hey! Let's not be calling for the early death of the character whose actor is the likeliest to be talked into doing as much nudity as network TV will allow!
Matt, always with the practical!
I think, perhaps, it was supposed to be a very specific part of Jamaica, but I'd have to go listen again to be sure.
Yeah, but it's still a total crap accent. Narrowing it down to a village doesn't save them.
What? You mean there's not really a Caribbean island of Rastafarian leprechauns that her dialogue coach was drawing from?
What? No GG, VM or Lost this week? That sucks!
Or is it Lost this week and no Lost next week? Which makes a little more sense what with the Holiday next week.
And I saw DDK in a random movie on Scifi last night! Playing a G-Man working for an evil Louis Gossett, Jr.
And Liese is right -- he must not die because of the Hawttt! (Not that the show is w/o Hawttt w/o DDK. . . )
What? No GG, VM or Lost this week? That sucks!
Just no VM this week. No GG or Lost next week, it seems.
Okay. Whew!
I think that the WB has that American Girl movie next week (see -- Holiday!) and of course, Wednesday is the day before Thanksgiving: an opportunity for a holiday special, no doubt.
