I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Buffy ,'Get It Done'

Lost: OMGWTF POLAR BEAR

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Hmmm. I looked. It's something I've heard of before. Will take that to Spoilage Lite thread.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

It's my semi-spoiler, which we are currently discussing in S.Lite.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Just adding my thanks to Megan for the translation. To be fair to SnickerBitch, though, she did say that she couldn't do the translation, and only said anything when everyone pushed her. Turns out she was kinda right. Really looking forward to seeing more about the black rock!

All is well that ends in pizza.

It didn't when I was there, now it does. Fark. just a sec...

All is well that ends in pizza.

Huh. Standard buffistas@hotmail is a valid login, but they want a six character password, and the standard "foamy" comes up short.

I've requested the info in Bureaucracy.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

The translation rocked, meagan. Thanks for the effort.

My Korean goilfriend has been giving me Jun translations, indicating that he is not on to Sun's English, just yet. BTW, she (the goilfriend) says that Jin has an American accent, and that Sun sounds 'urban', or possibly, 'urbane'. Her apparent class is higher than his, at any rate. Which fits, I'm thinking.

t sheds a tear at the thought of Gus with another Korean goilfriend

Yeah, Jin doesn't know about Sun speaking English. The translation on that scene was something like, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH HIM?", like, totally with the ASSCAPS and way ruder. It was more like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT RAT BASTARD?", actually.

Jin has an American accent

Well, that's because Daniel Dae Kim grew up in United States and his Korean is bad from lack of practice--it's an actor thing, not a character thing. To my ear, his American-accented Korean also has a twinge of regional accent from the Southeast provinces of Korean, which I chalk up to the fact that his parents are from Pusan and probably had wee bit of regional accent from the area. However, unlike the rigid association between accent and class in, say, Britain, the class distinction according to accents isn't as big a deal in South Korea. The actress who plays Sun has the standard accent of someone born and raised in Seoul (although I understand she spent her adolescence in NY.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That's awesome! Jin is all jealous! And he doesn't even know Michael totally saw her in the buff. Right?
