Oy. Just saw Hotel Rwanda. Normally I don't sob. I'm a pretty quiet cryer. I hyperventilated. I hope I was quiet.
Don Cheadle is a deliciously gentle actor. Not all the time, but very nice and delicate in this picture.
I didn't see Ocean's 12 -- was his English accent still atrocious? He seemed to manage his Rwandan accent fine.

But I still don't understand what it was about the wife's role that got Sophie Okonedo (I hope I spelled that right) an Oscar nomination. I mean, all she did was interchange the lines, "Can you save them all? Because they're our neighbors. I saw that guy once at the grocery store. Can you save him?" and "How dare you save people without discussing it with me first!" and crying. It was frustrating to watch, and I feel that there would have to have been more depth to the real person, and this role just did not reflect that at all. That said, I did like the roof top scene between them, when he told her about having her transferred .
