In other news, I think my DH may be going for a Section 8 discharge (if the Foreign Service has those). He pretty much only speaks in movie quotes anyway, but apparently in staff meeting yesterday when asked what he wanted, he responded "I want Tina Sparkle to walk through that door and say 'The Finance Minister's broken both his legs and I want to dance with YOU!'"
His secretary told me this, in a worried tone of voice. My response was "That was unexpected."
I am loving this so much. Raquel and her DH are my new heroes.
Also, that martial arts movie looks impressive. Well, not so much the movie, actually, just the martial arts. Which is what that trailer was advertising, so that's all good.
I personally thought that they should have had two completely dissimilar heads. Like, I dunno, Cary Elwes and Steve Buscemi.
Yeah, that'd rock. What are the rules for spoilers of upcoming movies, BTW? I mean something like this which I'd call just a basic part of the premise of H2G2 - is that a spoiler?

Or Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito?

I'd say it's a spoiler because
it's a major change from the books if Zaphod's only got one head for 2/3 of the film.
I saw The Stepford Wives last night.
It was different from what I expected. Nowhere near as scary as the original, which was good, because I prefer not to be scared. Also, I enjoyed the ending this time, which was also nice. And it was very pretty. I wasn't 100% down with the crazy strong empowerment woman / doormat husband theme, but I like the general idea behind it. I also enjoyed all the funny. There was lots of funny. And pretty.
And now I want to take a Claireobics class.
Who's playing Zaphod?
Sam Rockwell.
I can't find a good picture of Mos Def to articulate why he's a perfect Ford. But he is.
Martin Freeman will be Arthur, Bill Nighy, Slartibartfast, and Zooey Deschanel as Trillian.
I'm startled by how okay/happy I am with the casting of something that's lived in my head for more than half my life. First LotR, now this. Some casting directors are definitely earning their money. Shame about
Constantine.
Sweet! I love Sam Rockwell.
