The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

If any of you go, please oh please take photos. Lots and lots and lots of photos.

I think we need to go for an outing.

I really want to see The Wedding Date. And Bride and Prejudice. And Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Why aren't these movies out already?

Or two.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Because when I told her that Keanu Reeves was going to play Constantine, she thought I meant Constantine the Great.

Dude, lets change the name of the city to Constantinople, not Istanbul...

If I only had a brain...

You have high-quality friends, Sumi.

I am hoping Constantine turns out to be good. We're due.

Because when I told her that Keanu Reeves was going to play Constantine, she thought I meant Constantine the Great.

That's what I thought too, when you guys started to talk about it. I figured it was yet another epic historical, to rival Colin Farrell in Alexander, or something. And then I saw the trailer, and understood.

Outings with Lee, outings with Lee, la la la, outings with Lee.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The Constantine ad says to me "Matrix meets Devil's Advocate." Which sounds like I'd like it, but not that it would necessarily be good, per se.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't see Keanu pulling off the world-weary, tired smartass without being somehow blunt. I want it to be magic, but mostly I wanted it to be this.

Art Crawl!!!

You have high-quality friends, Sumi.

Well, she really thought what Alibelle thought: that given Gladiator, Troy and Alexander we were in for another sandals and swords historic epic. She had also never heard of John Constantine. I just assumed that she had. (I've only come across him in his cameos in one of the Sandman books that I read.)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think at least Djimon Hounsou will be good. And what I've heard about the movie's twist on metaphysical cosmology will be interesting to see, though it's nothing like that of DC Comics.
