They shortened the lightning sand scene, when they're underground. Given that a) that's my most romantic movie scene (from dive to him putting his hand on the small of her back after the rescue) and b) I can't help breathing in time to it, it spoiled the experience for me.
Groundhog Day is one of two movies in which I can stand AM. The other is Hudson Hawk.

The last time I poked my head in here I mentioned I liked this movie. Parts of it were just...weird, but I liked the heist scenes.

Matt, I liked The Matchmaker, as well. Denis Leary and Janeane Garafalo getting hooked up? Snarktastic. It's not great cinema, but it's pleasant fluff.

(I liked Royal Tenenbaums, but don't especially remember his performance in it. Violently hated Rushmore. Saw Ghostbusters too long ago to have any accurate critical assessment of his performance. Can't think of anything else I've seen him in offhand.)

I like this typo, but I'm picturing a cross between Stripes and Showgirls, and it's kind of giving me brain trauma.
Watched Wild Things last night, and it was surprisingly enjoyable, but Bill Murray=not a very believable trial attorney. Made a great ambulance-chaser, though.
