It's not that long -- I don't know why it was cut.
Maybe they figured it could really offend people. But they obviously didn't balance that with the amount of joy and good cheer and hilariousity it would bring to other people.
The Cutting Edge is so great. Toe pick! And I like Fools Rush In. I don't love it, but I definitely like it.
Groundhog Day still sucks, though.
I own that movie, I used to be able to reel off entire scenes from memory
I have a crappy taped-off-HBO video. I need the DVD. And yeah, it's one of those movies I can quote the dialogue to as I watch.
"Watch out for that first step: it's a dooooooozy!"
"It's Ned! Ned Ryerson!"
"Ned?!"
t whack!
And then Phil's grin. So perfectly played by Murray and Tolbolowski.
Groundhog Day is great. I mean, people are allowed to have their own opinions and taste and stuff, but NOT IN THIS INSTANCE.
Watching
Bring It On
right now. The Clovers just called Eliza and Kirsten "a bunch of Buffys". Funny on many (well, two) levels...
ETA: And I'm sure I'm the last person here to make the connection, but I did not even recognize Clare Kramer until I heard her voice several times.
Groundhog Day is great. I mean, people are allowed to have their own opinions and taste and stuff, but NOT IN THIS INSTANCE.
The Scrappy is wise. Am I right or am I right? Or am I right? Right? Rrr.
Groundhog Day is great. I mean, people are allowed to have their own opinions and taste and stuff, but NOT IN THIS INSTANCE.
Stands proudly beside Scrappy and her utter Rightness
I only saw Groundhog Day once, way back when it first came out, and I remember being okay with it, but not in love with it. Maybe I should watch it again.
Maybe I should watch it again.
Actually you should watch it again and again and again and again and again.
I've seen it a few times, and still hate Andie MacDowell too much to call the film great. It's entertaining, and Bill Murray is fantastic, but she's just...ugh.
