What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Groundhog Day is great. I mean, people are allowed to have their own opinions and taste and stuff, but NOT IN THIS INSTANCE.

The Scrappy is wise. Am I right or am I right? Or am I right? Right? Rrr.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Stands proudly beside Scrappy and her utter Rightness

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I only saw Groundhog Day once, way back when it first came out, and I remember being okay with it, but not in love with it. Maybe I should watch it again.

Actually you should watch it again and again and again and again and again.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've seen it a few times, and still hate Andie MacDowell too much to call the film great. It's entertaining, and Bill Murray is fantastic, but she's just...ugh.

You so funny! And by that, I mean -- don't quit your day job, Smay.

Sorry, but that movie did an all too effective job of conveying the boredom and repetition-spawned suckage of all joy from life that the main character was experiencing. Only the moment with Punxatawney Phil driving struck me as entertaining.

Yes, well at least my dayjob doesn't include working for superfundie KrazyKristian Boss.

Quick! Your top five favorite Bill Murray performances.

If you don't have five favorite Bill Murray performances, get the hell out of this thread!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I think Andie McDowell is a terrible actress, but this is one of the two movies I like her in, the other being "Unstrung Heroes."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You know, telling Alibelle she'll get it when she's older is about as respectful as "Oh, you'll get fat when you're thirty, though." (to which I should have replied "Like you? Will I also get bitter and vindictive? Yay!" But I didn't. Still, being in good shape works fine as revenge so far.)

I hate Andie MacDowell. I really enjoy Groundhog Day, but given how Alibelle feels about, say, tamarinds, there's no reasoning with some people.

I only tried to watch The Princess Bride once on TV, they shortened my favourite scene (on TBS, maybe, or TNT), and I'm not going in for that again. Nosirree.

TiVo cuts down on the amount of stumbling into crack I do these days.
