Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Tom, my BF hated O12 as well, with a passion. I found it fluffy, meaningless fun. Not something I'd ever want to see again, but not painful. Maybe it's the high percentage of cute actors which made it acceptable to me.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I found it fluffy, meaningless fun.

That's exactly what I felt about O11.

O11 was fluffy, WELL-WRITTEN, meangingless fun. The sequel is a much worse film.

The Bruce Willis scene was painful. I just had to leave...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I went to see Ocean's Twelve today.

I walked out about 3/4 the way through it.

So you got about an Ocean's Nine?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Tom, while I thought it was fun enough and very pretty, that was SO the low point! I could have walked myself.

Plus, not so much grooving on the pretty as you all may be.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Maximum Overdrive, one of many baaad S. King novel to movie attempts.

The original short story is great. The movie was actually directed by King himself, and even he thinks it's crap.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I just saw Bubba Ho-Tep. I did not enjoy it very much, except for some of Ossie Davis's scenes. I'm glad that other people were responsible for the rental fees.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Bubba Ho-Tep was quite... bizarre. I saw it in the theater and was all WTF up until some ridiculous point in the movie when I kind of gave over to it. I ended up laughing my ass off and enjoying it. It's quite a strange film.
