I have a plan.

I saw The Aviator tonight. Long movie but deserves all the accolades it gets.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

We just made Jilli watch Dodgeball.

While the movie remains a surreal laugh riot, it's even better watching Jilli watch it.

Especially when you get to the stuff at the very end of the credits and she puts her hands over her eyes to defend herself from what's on screen.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I didn't realize until the other day that Christine Taylor is actually married to Ben Stiller. Which explains much, and takes away a lot of the creepiness of his characters always being hot for hers.

"It's got to be the hair, Cotton. It's beautiful! Feathered and lethal. You just don't see it nowadays." Pepper Brooks - Dodgeball

Dodge Ball is a brilliant movie - of course, my entire family are rabid about Ben Stiller (down to having the Ben Stiller show on DVD; my husband and I were two of the perhaps six people who actually watched it on Fox, and now it's our youngest son's "comfort" watching).

Part of it's brilliance is that it has two actors from Galaxy Quest (which cast members seem to work together in other projects to an incestuous degree). Not that I'm obsessed about Galaxy Quest, or anything. ;-D

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I ended up seeing Dodgeball last night, too. The horror....the HORROR! Alan Tudyk was enough to make me keep me from turning it off in the beginning, and it got better once the actual dodgeball started, but a while there, it was painful. I really like everyone involved, too, so I don't know why this didn't click for me.

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

Watched Garden State last night. Am very happy to report that it lived up to all expectations. I was a little teensy bit disappointed by the ending, but it didn't cause me to like the movie any less.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Alicia, does the ending work better for you if you know that Zach Braff intended for this to be sort of a modern version of The Graduate?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I watched The Garden State last night too!

AIWFG. Well, very good at least. Much better than Wimbeldon, which was almost painfully bitng, despite my love and lust for both Paul Bettany and Kirsten Dunst.
