You sure would. The witches are even more cold and evil than in BB&C. Veronica Lake is very cool.
Oooh. Okay, now I have to find a copy.
Somebody in the audience went "Ewwww" at the vision of Gillian in pastels. Also her cool mask shop was all crapola tchotchkes now.
I first saw BB&C when I was about nine. I was watching it on tv w/ my parents; after the movie was over, I ranted indignantly from the depths of my nine-year-old heart about how the ending was ALL WRONG, and a REAL witch
could fall in love AND keep her powers,
and I would NEVER do something like that.
The one thing about the ending that made it slightly more palatable to me, was that it wasn't presented as a choice, that she feared and resented the change (at first anyway), and it was presented as a bit tragic.

Ninjas vs Pirates -- the Caribbean smackdown!
I can't even describe the warm squishies Chow Yun Fat gives me.
That used to be me until hearing his big Chinese newspaper rant about how much he hates speaking English, eating American food, and having to deal with Westerners while counting the seconds until he can leave our polluted shores for homeshooting movies.
counting the seconds until he can leave our polluted shores for home
Damned foreigners.
I mean, it is pretty grace-deficient to take the millions and run, but he just was tactless enough to say in public.
Chow Yun-Fat in POTC2.
So he'll be doing the patented two-gun sideways dive with flintlock pistols? Cooooool.
