"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

How do porcupines have sex? Very carefully.

As opposed to dogs and rabbits in the selfsame footage, who argue over which end is which, after the sex has already started. Very glad to be a higher form of life, at times like those.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Whatever happened to Fay Wray? That delicate, satin-draped frame . . . .

Art Crawl!!!

Found this on Scifi:

Navi Rawat will star in the Wes Craven-produced Project Greenlight monster movie Feast with Balthazar Getty, Krista Allen, Henry Rollins and Jason Mewes, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The horror film centers on a group of people locked in a bar who are forced to fight monsters.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jason Mewes? What sort of a messed up world is that?

Note to actors: If your co-stars are Jason Mewes and Krista Allen, and the script doesn't reek of irony? Be vewwy vewwy careful.

I saw Saw last night. It was creepy and messed up. Also, when Carey Elwes is not in Princess Bride or Robin Hood: Men In Tights, he's not a very good actor.

All in all, the story was well crafted and well thought out, but I'm not entirely certain that it was, in the end, good.

Might be worth it to see Hammerin' Hank and Jay interacting, though.

edited to make it clear what I was responding to

I thought he did okay in Kiss the Girls.

UI Bloomington

Ahem. IU Bloomington. They're very picky about that, but I don't know why.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

He was also okay as Michael Collins in From the Earth to the Moon, even though he didn't have much screentime.

Has anyone seen Christmas with the Kranks? I clicked over to Rotten Tomatoes, and it has a 4 percent rating, the lowest I ever remember seeing there.

I had problems with Kiss the Girls, but that was possibly because of Patterson's story, and not any of the rest of it, but those problems seemed to seep out into the rest of the movie.
