Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

...suddenly recalling seeing an alternate universe where Beaker became a steroided bouncer at a nightclub where Scooter danced in hot pants.

It wounded my eyes and my brain.

No, seriously, you guys have got to see it!! It's hilarious, and a real throwback to the classic Muppet Show style. They manage to spoof/homage just about every Christmas special ever made, as well as stage a brilliantly done take-off of Moulin Rouge (with Ms. Piggy as Satine and Kermit filling in for Ewan) and even have a pseudo Steve Irwin stalking Fozzie Bear!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Huh. This look like it could be interesting. On one hand, you've got a fairly familiar plot as supernatural thrillers go, but on the other hand, you have Sean Bean and Maria Bello, both very interesting actors, and the film is directed by the guy who did the original "Ginger Snaps". No release date on IMDb yet though.

Does anyone know anything about this film One, that Claudia Black is the lead for? We saw the trailer for it in Burbank last weekend, and it apparently has no distributor yet. Looks like a fairly standard sci-fi/fantasy thing with Claudia playing an asskicking Warrior of Destiny sort of thing. The visuals looked cool, though.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Not only was he in hot pants, but he was dancing in a GoGo cage. Verra disturbing.

Art Crawl!!!

I hope it's nice for her! (I mean, that she gets a good cut - and that it results in greater book sales.)

I think it's coming to the US next summer.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

That was one of my favorite of her books, I think. And it's directed by Miyazaki! I hope it comes to the US before long.

On a related note: what's the general consensus on Princess Mononoke?

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

what's the general consensus on Princess Mononoke?

Fabulous, of course.
