Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I mean, don't they know that "greek" is slang for anal sex? Maybe they should start suing prostitutes.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

If I only had a brain...

Betsy ... did you miss the Roman Polanksi movie Pirates, starring Walter Matthau?

Yes, I did. Should I rectify the omission?

And how can I forget Muppet Treasure Island, with Tim Curry in serious contention for Best. Long John Silver. Ever.?

And Miss Piggy simpering and saying "Lo-o-ng John," and Kermit yelling, "Him, too??!!" Muppets aren't supposed to do innuendo!

Connie, did you see the Very Merry Muppet Christmas special from a few years ago? Pepe was innuendo-ing all over the place with Joan Cusack, and it wasn't all that subtle, either.

Nope, missed that one. But I did see the first one, with John Denver, where John had to tell the besotted Piggy, "I'm a married man!"

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

...suddenly recalling seeing an alternate universe where Beaker became a steroided bouncer at a nightclub where Scooter danced in hot pants.

It wounded my eyes and my brain.

No, seriously, you guys have got to see it!! It's hilarious, and a real throwback to the classic Muppet Show style. They manage to spoof/homage just about every Christmas special ever made, as well as stage a brilliantly done take-off of Moulin Rouge (with Ms. Piggy as Satine and Kermit filling in for Ewan) and even have a pseudo Steve Irwin stalking Fozzie Bear!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Huh. This look like it could be interesting. On one hand, you've got a fairly familiar plot as supernatural thrillers go, but on the other hand, you have Sean Bean and Maria Bello, both very interesting actors, and the film is directed by the guy who did the original "Ginger Snaps". No release date on IMDb yet though.

Does anyone know anything about this film One, that Claudia Black is the lead for? We saw the trailer for it in Burbank last weekend, and it apparently has no distributor yet. Looks like a fairly standard sci-fi/fantasy thing with Claudia playing an asskicking Warrior of Destiny sort of thing. The visuals looked cool, though.
