I thought David Gale was good. K-Pax ....well, it's not fair for me to judge without seeing it.
Buffista Movies 3: Panned and Scanned
A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
They'll probably pick Antonio Banderas, then.
Been & gone, Gandalfe. He was going to produce it at one point. Dunno what happened, but apparently he was very excited about it.
or one of the kids from Y Tu Mama Tambien.

Okay, they did cast Jessica Alba as Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four.
Stop saying that.
Sorry.

I mean, I don't even give a flying fart about Sue Storm, and I think that's crap casting. On par with Halle/Storm, perhaps.
Pillaged from the library's DVD collection: Donnie Darko, Chicago (both of which I've never seen), Return of the King, and Rushmore (both of which I have seen, but I missed the hobbitses and I also thought I'd give Rushmore another chance).
How much do I love my library? Free DVD borrowing. You get them for 2 days, and can only renew them once. However, you can't put a reserve on movies, so you have a guaranteed renewal for 2 more days.
If you cleverly take them out on a Wednesday and renew them on Friday, you have them all weekend, since the library is closed on Sunday.
God bless the public library system of Hamilton County.
Ultimate FF has made me actually *like* them, just in time for the movie to make me hate them. Phooey.
Okay, they did cast Jessica Alba as Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four.
Auuuughhhh!!!
I think puberty tends to be a lot more dramatic among boys than girls, which would jeapordize the sales potential of a cute wittle face.
This would be the Fred Savage lesson.
