Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Okay, that photo convinces me that I'm going to have a lot of trouble suspending enough disbelief to buy Edward Furlong kicking the crap out of David Boreanaz, no matter how dramatic his KISS wannabe makeup looks.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hubby was mightily upset at Toy Story because they didn't save the hurt toys from the evil kid.

He needs a talking to from Jack's dad (on Lost).

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

He looks disturbingly like Helena Bonham-Carter circa Fight Club.

Has anyone else noticed that the new poster of Depp as Wonka looks disturbingly (or not, depending on your perspective) like Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in Velvet Goldmine?

Art Crawl!!!

At least the article says that Richards hasn't been signed yet , which suggests that it is something that they are working towards.

Willy Wonka genderfuck. I mean, first there was Marilyn Manson, and now glam. I think I need to lie down before my brain starts going to places which are incredibly perverse and wrong.

Oh, too late.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Has anyone here seen the movie Improptu, starring Judy Davis as George Sand and Hugh Grant (pre-fame) as Chopin?

I am having a HUGE case of not-remembering-- There is a scene where Judy hides under the piano while Hugh is playing and is very aroused by the song/playing/Chopin himself. What Chopin piece is playing? I can hear it in my head, but I cannot remember what the name is.

I also really quite liked that movie, and do recommend it to just about anyone-- the cast includes Emma Thompson, Mandy Patinkin and Bernadette Peters as well and they are all wonderful!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I love that movie too, Sophia, but I don't remember the music.

I love that movie too

I bought a VHS copy of it, used, from the video counter at the grocery store where I worked as a teen. Apparently I was the only person who rented it!

I own it too, though it may be on the list of ones I was supposed to send Anne and Kate P months and months ago.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I just added Impromptu to my Netflix queue. Thanks to you folks, my queue is up to 217. Granted, some of those are Farscape episodes, but still. Lucky I've got vacation time coming.
