Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think the only movie of his (besides John Q) that I haven't seen.

Wow. Have you seen Ricochet ? I remember that having a cool thing at the end.

Hey. New board.

The Internet tells me that The Grudge kinda sucks. I'm not sure if I believe it - I'm a sucker for creepiness.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

In a bizarre twist, tonight both Time Bandits and Flash Gordon showed up on Showtime OnDemand. Maybe this weekend I'll have myself a double feature.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

I'm just kind of amazed that people would somehow stumble across that particular fetish in the first place, nevermind develop an entire community dedicated to it.

How soon they forget - "I'm wearing a rubber glove on my head right now and it's fucking great!"

Art Crawl!!!

Scifi Wire says that Variety confirms Routh as new Supes and Julian McMahon talks about Dr. Doom's origins -- apparently they are going to differ from the comics-version.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Huh, further down on that page there's a rumor that AA and CC are both in the running for Lois Lane. [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why so many of them effectively twelve years old?

Mischa Barton as Lois Lane? Aren't we being a bit young? Admittedly, Keri Russell has had plenty of time to age since being Felicity, but they're still casting Smallville age actors.

Gotcha.

Well, if they're going with a 25 year-old for Superman, it would make sense to try to get someone around that age for Lois. Still, I agree it is weird that they're looking at people who, for the most part play, teenagers.
