Actually, from some of the comments she's made, it seems like SMG takes very little joy in what she does, and that maybe she's in the wrong line of work.
If so, it's a shame, as she's undeniably very good at it. Though I suppose people don't always enjoy doing the things they're talented at.

It's always made me a little sad because *I* loved Buffy so much. So many saw so much in a show she was the center of (visually, at least), it would be unfortunate and ironic if she hated it.
I'm sure she loved the show. I'm pretty sure she's said as much. That's different from enjoying the work involved to do it.
And even more different from enjoying hanging out with coworkers after it's all done. I am reminded of how I react whenever my parents dropped me off anywhere (summer camp, college, etc.): I just wanted them to get the fuck out. And I like my parents! I'm not good with transitions.
It's old ground, but I do think SMG meant it when she held up the "I miss you Aly!" sign closing out her guest hosting on SNL. Then that changed.
SMG and Aly fought?
Am I really out of the loop? Because I haven't the faintest idea what rumors you guys are talking about.
oh the rumours. maybe one of these days we will get a "where are they now" with all the good gossip.
Finally got around to seeing I ♥ Hucakbees last night, and was delighted by it. I suspect that many people will find it intolerable, though.
Intolerable in what way, Jessica? Too eccentric, or two cutesy, or something else?
Ali, I wasn't there, so obviously I have exactly no knowledge as to whether this is true or not. But the rumor I have heard is that AH was better-liked than SMG on the set, and it annoyed SMG. I haven't heard about any direct fights, though.
