Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

Buffista Movies 3: Panned and Scanned

A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

as long as she looks just-like-Buffy, it's gonna be a mental block for me.

Me too, so far.

EW last week had a great set of photos of Buffyher.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

You can go ahead and call them Buffy pictures. Their cover certainly did.

P.S. Thanks, Matt. I watched "The Punisher" without the slightest bit of attention to the plot, and I think I was happier for it. That movie certainly does do its part in bringing a shirtless hero to the screen. Moreover, a hero who should be consistantly shirtless, which is just nice.

(Consistant? Consistent? Why is my brain having so much trouble?)

Woe to the fucking wicked.

She looks startlingly like Michelle T in a couple of those.

I was thinking that if she'd dye her hair for a couple projects, that would be a goodness, but it might just make her look even more like MT.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Someone described the grudge trailer as "randomly flipping through TV channels, one of which has Buffy on", which sums up what I thought of it

Trust my rage

SMG's going to be one of those actors who, as long as she looks just-like-Buffy, it's gonna be a mental block for me.

Glad it's not just me. Sometimes I've joked that post-Chosen, Buffy becamse an actress.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I have a nasty feeling that when I see The Grudge, I'll keep wondering why SMG just doesn't beat the crap out of the monsters, or call Willow to help her out.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I have a nasty feeling that when I see The Grudge, I'll keep wondering why SMG just doesn't beat the crap out of the monsters, or call Willow to help her out.

This is why her roles in the Kevin Williamson movies never worked for me. No way could the Gorton's fisherman or spooky face take down Buffy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

All told, I'll probably see Doom before this.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

WTF? And why is John Woo doing it?

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

I saw Sex and Lucia last night. Oof. So good. And, uh, hawt.
