We're proud to say that the Class of '99 has the lowest mortality rate of any graduating class in Sunnydale history.

Buffista Movies 3: Panned and Scanned

A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

No really. I assure you that MM and I were the original founders of the Institute for the Study of Temporal Inconsistancies in the Back to the Future Movies.

I can't say how much I'd have liked to have been in that room. The funny thing is, I go into a Glory/Ben sort of forgetfulness every time I try to remember our theories. I can never remember what is wrong with it until I have the discussion with my brother again!

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Right, it's II that's back in the old west, and where the forgot a delorean that might have provided extra parts and gas.

No, it's III in the old West, crazy man.

We may have to revoke your chair in the Institute.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Michael Madsen narrates the Animal Precinct (New York) show on Animal Planet. I feel perversely comforted knowing that the narrator is going to take those animal neglecters out behind the building and smack them really hard.

YOU! paff DO NOT! paff TIE YOUR DOG TO A HOT RADIATOR! paff WISE UP YOU HEARTLESS TWIT! paff ... I got my eye on you from now on, buddy. Fido and I are real close friends. You mess with Fido, you answer to me.

Even I knew that. II had the hoverboards.

BTW, when I was a kid, we kept hearing that hoverboards were coming out any day.

I want my hoverboard, dammit!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Saw Spidey 2.

I'll be in my bunk.

James Franco?

The whole damned movie. It has now become my all-time favorite comic book movie EVER, I love all things Spider-Man. I love that Marvel doesn't totally fuck it's comics in order to get a movie made. I love that Marvel isn't owned by Sony Columbia so they are allowed to keep the comics integrity and spirit so that they make a kick-ass movie with great villians and characterization and depth and GOOD action and no scenery chewing or horrid accents and I just love it love it love it and want to have it's little spider babies.

I could be like Charlotte.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

But, like, who designed this system, where a guy who has a brief murderous thought goes into Zombie Therapy, and someone like Ken Lay isn't even on the radar?

I think you just answered your own question there.

Aw, hell. That was a friggin' typo. It's still early for me.

YES!!! I've watched that too, and been comforted knowing Madsen would go all Mr. Blond on their asses, if he could.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, ita.... You feeling okay?

Sometimes it's enough just knowing everyone is wrong.
