Buffista Movies 3: Panned and Scanned

A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

If I only had a brain...

Yes, they've digitally placed Hayden Christensen in the Jedi lineup at the end.

NOOOOOO. I hates me some George Lucas.

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

I just watched The Apple.

Um... what? How? Why? What? But ... um ...

Hm.

Hey. New board.

Right, so, where on the pirate market can I get SVCDs (or DVDs) made from the old laserdiscs?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

How? Why? What?

Three excellent questions.

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

I don't think you can use "good" or "bad" to describe this movie. It is what it is. I think my mistake was in watching it alone, but I remain baffled.

The "I'm Comin' For You" scene alone will scar me for days, nay, weeks!

Especially because the song is very earwormable.

...Oh, fuck.

Thrive to spite them

I have the SW widescreen set that came out before the Lucas Digital destoryed the movies.

So I can go and watch the jub jub song. Which I may do when I get home.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

All hail VHS purchased before 1995.

I knew being a psychotic early collector was good for something.
