Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, and I just read a rumour that Bullseye will be appearing in Elektra.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I just think every Bond rumor originates from that star's publicist, with the exception of Owen & Jackman. I mean, they're second and third in line? Bull-shit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

EW had the point about Bond that someone like Jackman just won't want it, because he actually has a career, and it's traditionally the province of someone looking to be rescued, workwise.

Owen has just said he doesn't want it. So they may very well be going the second-string looking guys.

Or just a bunch of crap, because apparently Pierce is still in the running.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I watched Cold Mountain yesterday. GAH!

I hereby apologize to the universe for every time I gave Jude Law a "Meh."

Up with the sun

I saw a rumor on LiveJournal yesterday that they were thinking about Julian McMahon. I don't give it much credibility, but his career is much closer to Brosnan's than Eric Bana's is.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'd cheer at the thought of that, except that his role on Nip/Tuck is tailor-made for him: nekkid as much as basic cable will allow.

I'm sure Jackman & Owen don't need it-- or, in Owen's case, may be holding out for more money-- which is why the idea that they would be offered after Bana turns them down is ludicrous.

But now Eric Bana and Julian McMahon's profiles are higher. Unless I'm wrong, and this is an acknowledgment of a career low for them, which seems unlikely for those in particular.

Personally, I don't go as far as suspecting PR. I suspect crackpots^H^H^Hwishful fans on the internet.

Higher than whose? I'm not sure I follow you...

Higher than they were before they regularly appeared in the wire services.
