Dammit!
I had successfully eternally sunshined The Betsy right oughta my mind. Now it's back again with all its truly terribleness. Curses.
A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

One of the few movies I've ever walked out of.
So it wasn't safe, then?
Olivier ended his career doing pretty much everything that came his way (see also Boys From Brazil, the Langella Dracula, etc.). Occasionally he got one like SLEUTH (with, hey now, Michael Caine), but usually, nsm.
Hey, I limited my Olivier comment to one I'd seen.
Not that The Boys from Brazil has a great rep.
I keep confusing The Boys from Brazil with The Boys in the Band.
I think it's a sickness.
Which big name Brit was in the X-rated Caligula? I thought it was Olivier, but it might be someone else, now that I think about it.
Peter O'Toole? Gielgud?
Which big name Brit was in the X-rated Caligula?
Malcolm McDowell (sp?), wazzn't it?
He was in it, but does he really have a big name? I adore him, but lord, talk about a crap resume. Fantasy Island, fer crissakes.
So it wasn't safe, then?
Dammit, I was rushing to the end to make this joke.
