I just found out that she is diabetic. I did not know that.
Did you find out in an ad? I'd read it somewhere, but I've recently seen she's a spokesperson of some sort for a diabetes-related organisation.
I don't think a knife is a weapon in the same way a gun is a weapon
I wouldn't either. But I think the history of the knife, the explicit design and use of some models to cause pain in an opponent leans me towards an easy weapon designation.
Sickles -- there I might waffle, even though I've trained with one. Which suddenly reminded me T-Boz is a spokesperson for a sickle-cell anaemia organisation. God, we black women are sick, aren't we?
But I think the history of the knife, the explicit design and use of some models to cause pain in an opponent leans me towards an easy weapon designation.
I'd be easier based on the model. The knives in my kitchen are like the hammers in my closet -- not made to be weapons, although they'd do a lot of damage easily.
What in the wide wide world of sports is going on?
I say this all the time. No one ever gets it.
The knives in my kitchen are like the hammers in my closet -- not made to be weapons
Well, the butter knives, and the dinner knives, only surely? I mean -- steak knives and cleavers and chef's knives and paring knives -- those are just an opponent short of a bloodbath!
I swear -- the krav shower I was recently at was mostly very normal. But damn, if her eyes didn't light up just a little bit oddly when she got to the Vera Wang cake serving set gift. Her poor inlaws.
I mean -- steak knives and cleavers and chef's knives and paring knives -- those are just an opponent short of a bloodbath!
Dude! They are just like the hammer! Meant to be tools, good as a weapon as well. Not made to be a weapon!! Just because you're bloodthirsty doesn't make my knife a weapon.
Hammers aren't ANYWHERE near as good weapons. This my bloodthirst assures me.

Like ita said, whenever I'm handling sharp knives, I think of them as weapons. Keeps me from cutting myself as much, probably. Butter knives I can hardly think of as tools, since they aren't much use even with butter.

Well, if your opponent is wearing plate armor a war hammer (which had a pointy end for metal penetration) was useful.
Butter knives make excellent substitute screwdivers, though.
I've hurt myself equally with a hammer and a knife, I think.
