The Ring was pretty, and suitably scary. But when I watched it a second time, I kept on thinking, "Wait, this doesn't make sense."
The scene with the dead girl coming out of the TV set was cool and creepy.
Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

The entire killing of the boyfriend horrified me the most. Oh, and anything involving fingernails. I have a bit of a squick there. And the horse, too, I guess, though I read people found that funny.

I was one of those people. Liked the rest of the movie, though. A friend of mine thinks it falls apart because it never explains how Samara is doing any of this, which I think the original one goes more into. She would love it were it not for that.
