Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If he was actually trying in Ocean's Eleven, Cheadle would need a LOT of accent work. (Not that it would be the same accent.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm pro Denzel or Yun Fat, myself. Slick, suave, impressively capable physically.

Ann, that's a ferret.

How about Denzel?

I recently saw the Branagh Much Ado About Nothing. He'd be a fine choice. Not very quippy, but the part didn't call for that.

Nothing against Denzel or Yun Fat, but isn't a big part of re-casting Bond to make him younger again? I think they are each too old to just be starting as Bond. You need a 35-40 year old, so he can do Bond for 10 years.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A thousand years from now, the heads of studios will meet in a special room to pick the next James Bond. Folks will know when the new Bond has been chosen by the color of the smoke coming out the building's chimney.

I have a sneaking suspicion that's not the big obstacle in their way.

This is why I should be in charge of everything. "It's not that he's Chinese, it's that he's too old!"

brillig

I really don't care so much about who's going to be Bond. Is Judi Dench going to continue as M, and what about Q?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Is Judi Dench going to continue as M, and what about Q?

Let's satisfy everyone! Chow Yun-Fat as M, and Don Cheadle as Q.

Although, really, they really need Kevin Weisman as Q. Cause.

Art Crawl!!!

There was a movie with Clive Owen AND Alan Rickman?

Also, to me Clive Owen looks to thoughtful to be completely thuggish -- but I'm not English and I don't get the accent thing.
