I actually liked her in Bulworth (before anyone knew who she was), but she wasn't really playing a character there so much as a plot point.
Buffista Movies 3: Panned and Scanned
A place to talk about movies--Old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I'll bet showing her breasts in Swordfish for no reason whatsoever was really empowering.
It was for me...
Re. The Grudge: Huh. The third-in-the-series deal sounds pretty crack-headed. I probably won't care much as long as it's reasonably spooky and atmospheric (as The Ring was). Plus, Bill Pulman! (Who probably will end up getting killed 10 minutes before the movie ends!)
Halle Berry: Flouncing around in a skin-tight leather costume in a brainless action flick isn't gonna make you the gem of African American Womanhood, ya poseur. Oy.
There are only two scenes worth watching in Swordfish, and that ain't one of them.
Oh, I like most of that movie, in all its trashy computer hacker action flick glory.

That's the only place I've liked her too.
The only good thing about Swordfish was Hugh Jackman brushing past me on his way out of the theatre at the premiere, and the open bar at the party afterwards.
Is it ita who was drooling over Chris Evans? You get a quick shot of him shirtless in the preview for his new movie, Cellular.
It looks highly implausible (the movie, not Chris' chest) but reasonably interesting.
Well, I had no interest in seeing The Village (though I've never been a fan of movies that are supposed to freak you out. Call it horror or thriller or what have you.) but the spoiler amuses me. Only Shamylan movie I've seen is Unbreakable, which I actually liked (and seems at odds with the general consensus here.)
Didn't like Swordfish. It started off only mildly ridiculous, but then got caught in this bizarre death spiral of absurdity where it kept topping itself until we get to the completely over-the-top climax.
Wow, looking at the upcoming releases for this summer, there's nothing I really want to see. Though I do need to see if I can find a local theatre showing Zatoichi.

I liked it, but I'm a comics geek.
You can compare and contrast The Grudge with Ju-On (The Grudge)
I think the Japanese version definitely looks to be the creepier of the two.
