I think Ausiello is a little high on himself, which is a big part of his shtick, but you can't take his reviews too seriously. And he's entitled to his opinion, no matter how wrong-headed it might be.
I actually appreciate his regular pimping of a Spike movie because I'd love to see it happen.

That shtick is what gets you a column with your name at the top of it in the entertainment writing world -- nobody gets paid to be humble. It's really not a reliable measure of someone's personality.]

That's true. I meant that his writing persona is high on himself. IRL he's probably a completely different person.

It used to be Navy: NCIS. Now it's just NCIS, which stands for Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which makes it a governmenty/military abbreviation.

I am Jon on both of these points. When people started talking about the NCIS finale recently, I drove myself batty trying to figure out what it was an abbreviation for. Nation's Coldest Igloo Sites? Neighbors Caught In Sewer?
