Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Okay, his "rogue division?" Are they trying to court the Alias fans or something?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I thought it was a rouge division. They'll figure out who offed your roommate and tied his bloated corpse to your mom's mailbox, and then they'll give you a makeover.

If I only had a brain...

I've been reading a lot of forensic stuff recently, and I keep being struck that unidentifiable bodies have notes like "well-cared for, probably well-to-do" because the severed leg has a pedicure. If I ever turn up as a set of miscellaneous body parts, I'm afraid the verdict will be "Unbelievably clumsy, bumped into things a lot, and never set foot in a salon."

"Unbelievably clumsy, bumped into things a lot, and never set foot in a salon."

More like, "Signs of previous trama. Possibly a victim of domestic abuse."

I don't think domestic abusers generally leave claw marks or circular bruises on the shins.

Claw marks, probably not. Circular bruises? Sure. Break out the ballpeen hammer, man.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I don't think domestic abusers generally leave claw marks or circular bruises on the shins.

Depends on how tall they are.
