[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I'm told Friday is out.
The whole Fox thing still freaks me out. I think I won't really believe the not-Friday-night-thing until I see the whites of its eyeballs on another night. OK, bad metaphor. Still, launching off season seems promising to me. I mean, Grey's Anatomy seems to be doing pretty well, and it just launched. Plus, for purely selfish reasons, it would mean that I would get to see what Allyson's been talking about sooner!
Did you need an extra comma in there, Gris? As in "parents, God, and Ayn Rand"? 'Cause that's how I read it.
My biggest problem with the whole "parents, God and Ayn Rand" thing is... well, actually, I have a two-fold problem with it.
Um, it's the time-honored joke about the serial comma.
The question is, is it right to say "I'd like to thank Tom, Dick, and Harry" or to say "I'd like to thank Tom, Dick and Harry". Some organizations do it one way, some the other. The "parents... Rand" phrase is the standard example of why the second comma (known as the serial comma) is important.
I don't see Rand settling down with someone who wanted it to be all about Him.
And God isn't that desperate.
Comma cross-post. Heh.

Them's fightin' woids!
Are we gonna argue about Objectivist punctuation now?
Throw in muffalettas and it's the Bestest Argument Evah!
