Entertainment Weekly--what? It was in teh break room, it's not like I buy the thing--has an interview with Joss. He says mean things about Fox and the WB, and he's happy about the Serenity movie, but he seems fairly resigned to nothing else happening with the Buffyverse other than an animated series maybe. This is depressing, along with DB and others talking about things they won't do and all their plans for moving on etc. Yes, I know the way of the world, yes, I know actors need to work, but ...

Shows and magazines dedicated to entertainment make me twitch. It was the only thing with words, though, other than a local religious magazine, and I needed words. Word-withdrawal is a nasty ailment.
Getting back to 24 for a minute, I just wanted to rant that I saw a preview and
it proves that Fox's promo people are dipping into the same monkey crack as the WB's. They had a "By the end of tonight's episode, two of these people will be dead", or words to that effect, and then they flashed just about all the major characters this season except for Terror!Brit (I think). I guess people dying on 24 isn't a big surprise, but did they have to specify a number? I mean some of the characters - Jack (definitely), Pres. Palmer (probably), Spawn the Indestructable (not a smidgen of doubt) - are obviously safe.
So
I'm betting on Terror!Brit's daughter will buy it, probably caught in a crossfire (I don't think after Chapelle that they'll make Jack kill her deliberately),
and for another
I'm going out on a limb and guessing that Principle Hottie finally deals with Lady McP...permanently.

Principal McHottie taking out Lady McP. Of course, I had to translate (he then laughed like heck, once I explained, though). He thinks Saunder's daughter is going to bite it too, but he thinks they're really going to put her in Plague!Hotel.

Speaking of 24, I went to a gala last night, and Dennis Haysbert was one of the presenters/hosts swoon even sexier live.
I whitefonted because while it's speculation, some of it touches on the 24 episode from last week, and I thought NAFDA was two weeks at least for shows not named in the thread?
But I'll go with whatever the consensus is.
Cindy, I usually hate the TWoP-Style nicknames, but for some reason the ones for 24 really make me laugh. Glad I could give Scott a chuckle.

I subscribe. I love my EW. I even got my letter to the editor quoted a month ago. I was so happy.
