Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Bringing Lucy Lawless in would have been rather more meta, what with the Xena references on prior shows and all...

brillig

One of the more decent crossover fics has Scully in LA being saved by a vision and telling the AI folks that she's not going to tell them why she's looking for Mulder because they'd never believe her. I like the story because she can't quite figure out Angel from a medical standpoint but she never finds out he's a vampire.

Take your fingers off it, don't you dare touch it, you know it don't belong to you, to you...

That sounds pretty cool. The only one I read involved Mulder and Scully coming to Sunnydale to investigate mysterious deaths; the plot did explain why the Master's bones were preserved (as vampires get older more of them is preserved when they are slain, enough dust in some cases to bring Mulder and Scully in to investigate) but then it degenerated into Mulder hooking up w/ Buffy and Scully getting interested in Giles...ick.

This fellow who goes by the name of Donner has some comedy crossovers (as well as lots of other high-larious stuff) at www.slightlywarped.com. Great site.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Honestly, I can.

I scare me.

It's squicky. Not as squicky as Buffy/Giles, but squicky

Well, if it was an organic story development it might have worked, but it wasn't, it was just forced in there b/c the writer wanted to merge her favourite characters.

Don't even get me started on Buffy/Giles...I'd like to hear what Freud would say about whoever wanted to put Buffy w/ her acknowledged father figure.

Mulder: I lost a sister. Buffy: I found one.

Mulder hooking up w/ Buffy

See, I can totally see Buffy going after Mulder, as her fondness for brooding, tormented guys with a gift for snark is well documented. It's the reverse of that which squicks massively.

Now Mulder/Willow on the other hand....

That last item was a joke, just in case someone thought I was serious.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Buffy/Giles I get, although I do not like.

Buffy/Mulder is just dumb.

Now I want to see a Geek Trio of Evil go up against the Lone Gunmen story.
