I used to watch Charmed fairly regularly, but then they fired Shannen Doherty and Julian McMahon took his chest to Nip/Tuck. Sad to say, I completely forgot about Charisma's guest turn last night, which may have been a blessing in disguise upon hearing the reviews.

If it's any consolation, LJ, I watch Charmed every week too. I wouldn't say I'm a fan, so much as a Constant Viewer who just can't seem to break free.

And I thought Julian McMahon was easily the best actor on the show when he was on. It's no surprise to me that he's going to be BIG.

Trust my rage

Well, Matt already said what I was going to re: Julian McMahon. I'll watch any repeat of Charmed if there's a chance he might show up on it.

He was really good on Profiler, which is why I started watching Nip/Tuck. He's a good actor. And pretty.

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk. --Tuco

If I may just chime in on the earlier Angel/Angelus discussion...To me, one of the main points of the Angel character on Buffy and later on Angel was that the evil and the good really are one person. We all have a demon inside, and how we handle it is the true test of our character.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Caught up on Charmed. CC looked good, but they're trying to make the character too similar to (early) Cordelia, I thought.

I'm a regular watcher of Charmed. It's part of my stable of shows that are entertaining enough to watch while exercising but not so involving as to make me get off the bike so I can concentrate.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Well, she *is* a demon...

The character of Cordelia went through so many permutations, I think we might be saying "reminds me of _______ Cordelia" for a long time.

I didn't get that sense when she was on Miss Match.

t shrug

All is well that ends in pizza.

If i recall, she played a nicely rounded character on Miss Match. She was more of a real-world version of early Cordy, only grown up and realizing she may come off as pushy, but not really meaning to.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If CC has a role where she is pointedly and bitchily truthful to anyone, someone will say it's like Cordelia.
