Caught up on

CC looked good, but they're trying to make the character too similar to (early) Cordelia, I thought.
I'm a regular watcher of
Charmed.
It's part of my stable of shows that are entertaining enough to watch while exercising but not so involving as to make me get off the bike so I can concentrate.

Well, she *is* a demon...
The character of Cordelia went through so many permutations, I think we might be saying "reminds me of _______ Cordelia" for a long time.
I didn't get that sense when she was on
Miss Match.
t shrug
If i recall, she played a nicely rounded character on Miss Match. She was more of a real-world version of early Cordy, only grown up and realizing she may come off as pushy, but not really meaning to.
If CC has a role where she is pointedly and bitchily truthful to anyone, someone will say it's like Cordelia.
That's the point I was trying to make with my last post. Except yours is clearer.
That all makes sense, but it really wasn't so much that the character seemed Cordelia-like as it seemed like the role was being played like Cordelia.
And that doesn't even make sense to me, so I will shut up about it.
I remember feeling a bit uneasy watching CC on Charmed. The Buffyverse shows were too similar in genre and too dissimilar in quality of writing. It would be like watching Alan Tudyk do an Enterprise role.
Only if he could play Wash and mutter at the fancy-assed nav system.

"Rounded?" "Pointedly?" What are you folks trying to say?
