I think the same thing Narrator thinks, and not just about her clarity, either. :-P
Angel 5: Is That It? Am I Done?
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I've been searching through the TT thread where Tim discussed it with us, and he was somewhat cryptic -- first asking rhetorically "wasn't she dead?", then posting "I didn't say she *was* dead" -- but the consensus at the time was that TPTB intervened.

I feel damned by faint praise. Or something.
You're welcome, honey.
plus? how did Angel bring her back? with some cold water? what is she? a Chia-Pet? just add a little water and she'll come to life.
Someone told him after Prophesy Girl that his "no breath" bit was just superstition from his youth.
seriously? i don't remember that.
so now vampires have their equivalent of an old wive's tale, huh?
I agree with those who lament the lack of mature mixed-sex friendships on TV, and also agree with those who say that such friendships are the basis of strong romantic relationships and the way TV never gets this right is a long-standing pet peeve of mine (I think ST:TNG almost got there with Riker & Troi, but there was a lot of nonsense as well).
I've never been sure how I feel about the Angel/Cordy relationship, but good point about Mal & Zoe, and (more kudos to Firefly) Mal and Kaylee also had a great friendship, although of a very different nature. Indeed, Mal's rich, varied relationships with all the women on Serenity constituted much of the texture of the show, come to think of it. Makes you wish you could have met his mother. But oops, not a Firefly thread.
"Someone told him after Prophesy Girl that his "no breath" bit was just superstition from his youth."
Is my fanwank as a theory, BTW. Never has it since been discussed on the air.
I think ST:TNG almost got there with Riker & Troi
I thought it was canon that Riker and Troi had been involved briefly before they ever got assigned to the Enterprise together, hence all the heavy breathing and hand wringing.
