"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Would it include BBC-A?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Your header makes it look like the Boxed Set oeuvre is restricted to the shows listed. I think putting the genre in and a list ending in etc of some of the shows therein is better representation.

Putting Psych and Monk in the topic headers seems to predetermine that they'll go in the Cable Drama threads. I thought people were discussing letting them find their own home.

And yes, I'm being stubborn because I still don't see them as dramas.

What is even happening?

SA, I agree with what ita says, above. I'd get rid of the parenthetical reference to The Dead Zone, Stargates, and The 4400.

Monique, I'm not ignoring your point, but I'm still thinking about what you said and wondering how we protect people against spoilers if we let stuff float.

Art Crawl!!!

Cable Drama thread?

Can we get back to making that please?

I really don't care what it says - possibly something about non-premium cable dramas, i.e., The Closer, Rescue Me, Saving Grace, Psych, Monk, Gil Mayo Mysteries, Murphy's Law. . .

But we're missing primo cable drama discussion time!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I thought I told you kids to read the thread before we left...

It's up. Name and header to be determined.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

SA's description worked for me.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm fine with SA's description too.

I say we hold off for something accurate.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So if we take SA's description here:

Slug: Thread for the discussion of original cable drama--but not scifi/fantasy (that's Boxed Set!) or pay-to-play (that's Premium Cable!). Psychics, detectives, surgeons, and firemen welcome. NAFDA.

Header: Thread for original cable dramas, including but not limited to TNT, USA, TBS, and F/X. Talk about shows that aren't discussed in Boxed Set (The Dead Zone, Stargates, The 4400) or Premium Cable (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax) are discussed here (Psych, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, The Riches, The Shield, Monk, etc). This thread is NAFDA.

and get rid of (The Dead Zone, Stargates, The 4400) and (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax), is that better?
