Cable Drama thread?
Can we get back to making that please?
I really don't care what it says - possibly something about non-premium cable dramas, i.e., The Closer, Rescue Me, Saving Grace, Psych, Monk, Gil Mayo Mysteries, Murphy's Law. . .
But we're missing primo cable drama discussion time!
SA's description worked for me.
I'm fine with SA's description too.
I say we hold off for something accurate.
So if we take SA's description here:
Slug: Thread for the discussion of original cable drama--but not scifi/fantasy (that's Boxed Set!) or pay-to-play (that's Premium Cable!). Psychics, detectives, surgeons, and firemen welcome. NAFDA.
Header: Thread for original cable dramas, including but not limited to TNT, USA, TBS, and F/X. Talk about shows that aren't discussed in Boxed Set (The Dead Zone, Stargates, The 4400) or Premium Cable (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax) are discussed here (Psych, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, The Riches, The Shield, Monk, etc). This thread is NAFDA.
and get rid of (The Dead Zone, Stargates, The 4400) and (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax), is that better?
Either that or:
Header: Thread for original cable dramas, including but not limited to TNT, USA, TBS, and F/X. Talk about shows that aren't discussed in Boxed Set (sf/fantasy like The Dead Zone, Stargates, The 4400) or Premium Cable (on HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, and the like) are discussed here (Psych, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, The Riches, The Shield, Monk, etc). This thread is NAFDA.
Just as long as open lists are clearly open.
Works for me either way.
On another question upthread, about BBCA, it depends.
Manchild
would be this thread,
So Graham Norton
not.
Would Manchild?
Wouldn't that go in the Comedy thread?
It makes sense to me to just leave off the parenthetical explanations - if someone is not sure what goes in Boxed Set and/or Premium, looking at their respective slugs and headers would clarify better than a truncated description in Cable Drama.
