I think it's a great idea, and we have quite a few published authors and some more on the way. Personally, I don't need a vote. It doesn't change how we do stuff, or anything.

Allyson, even if you think that you have a selfish motive (which you don't, you wrote a goddamned book and got published, woo!), it's still good for all of our published authors.
Anyone can add links using the form at the bottom of the links page.

But does that make it a link in the left sidebar? I thought that only stompies could do that.
Actually, Jon and I are the only ones that edit the left sidebar.
Is there really room in the left sidebar for something like this? I like the idea in theory, but I think it would look awfully crowded. What's wrong with adding a section to the Links page?

I agree with this.
There's a box for filk, I thought there could be a box for Buffista-written books.
I think the difference is that the filk is hosted here. But I'll wait for the opinion of the design gurus.
Well, I don't know if a proposal is shaping up for Allyson's book links idea or not. I'd certainly support it.
As for the TV threads --
What does everyone think of how well they did? I know the non-fiction thread semmed popular, and I certianly liked it and would want to see it continue (or a new one take its place).
I think the non-fiction/reality thread would probably get a lot of support, and I'm certainly ready to propose it, but I also want to see what discussion pops up about our experimental threads before I seriously put it forth.
