What? I'm not allowed to hit people? Wesley: Not people capable of genocide. Angel: Those are exactly the types of people I should be allowed to hit!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Liese, you are all hopped up on optimism and good feeling. How did your weekend with the sponsors go?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ah. It is not the laughing gas you should be after. It is the cold medicine. Because it is GOOOOD.

Also? Did I mention I'm not worried?

Which is not to say that I don't think splintering into factions is a good and healthy thing for a community. I do think it's certain flavors of inevitable, though. It's just the attitude we maintain betwixt subcommunities. Just so we all still respect each other, despite the other's inexplicable mountie fixations.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It went great. Gee, why do you ask?

Edited to add. Yeah, the optimism pretty uncharacteristic, eh?

Nah, I think of you as a positive (if snarky) human. You're supposed to be though since you're teaching the world to sing (and play Geddy Lee basslines).

Ha! Then I have you fooled, silly mortal! And also, I am currently teaching Krist Novoselic basslines, because, much easier. Furthermore, I propose that this thread be repurposed to be Liese and the Love We All Have For Her, and that all other threads be closed.

But to the point of the matter, I suppose I seem to feel that we should let things live a little and see how we breathe with them. As to the shows brought up, while I watch a few (Stargate) of them, I don't currently post about any of them. Anywhere, not just not here. Viewer and fan two different things, I suppose. But I'm open to seeing where the board wants to go.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I think we've moved on from a community dedicated to the discussion of ME works, and into a community brought together by discussions of ME Works.

And that all seems simple to me, that things will evolve, we'll find new stuff to obsess over...like, um, girlie elves. But not me.

Subcommunities were starting to squick me when someone coined the term "Minearista" (i think that's what it was). But then I remembered that there are Bitches, and I'm not one of those, and that's a pretty large subcommunity all on its own.

There was a point! And I lost it due to nicotine withdrawal. I'm going outside to find my point, again.

Allyson. I said that, and I was kidding.

ETA: It was around the time that we had a huge influx of people coming just to Minearverse purely for the celebrity factor. I was somewhat poking fun at the phenomenom, is all.

I remember, now, Kristin.
