I do get a little of the "New posts! Oh, just Deadwood talk," but that just makes me want to watch Deadwood.

I like the HBO posts in Movies -- it seems like the right place for them. (Of course, that might be just that I'm used to them being there now.)
Personally, I also like having TV talk all over the place, because it forces people to check out threads they might not otherwise go into. It fosters community, or something. (Note: the previous two sentences were pulled directly out of my ass, and should not be assumed to have actual supporting data behind them.)
All that said, however, I'd not be averse to a Premium Channel Boxed Set.
Like the peaches. (Sorry. I love that metaphor.)
As a general rule I'd as soon keep regular tv talk in Natter and elsewhere.
Exactly how I feel about some of the TV talk in Natter.
Ah, but it's not off-topic in Natter, like Deadwood talk is in the Movies thread.

I think that's kind of true. I never went into Boxed Set until Eureka.
I started talking Deadwood in Movies because it didn't seem to have a home elsewhere and there's no way I could keep up with Natter. Also, I think HBO shows seem more kin to cinema than network tv, but that might be anti-commercial prejudice. Just to clarify my stance, I'm happy with the situation as is, but willing to propose another thread if we're annoying people with the thread drift, as we apparently are.
I'm not at all annoyed by it myself, just noting it.
if we're annoying people with the thread drift, as we apparently are.
Though it seems to be a very minor annoyance, at a glance.

Speaking only for me, this is an accurate assessment.
Here's what I think the question is regarding Deadwood, at least: Do the people who want to talk about it want to talk about it more than they are currently talking about it? (Say that three times fast!)
