I figured that "I" meant both of us now.

Oh, yeah right. The mind-reading device. I mean.... nothing!

I'd probably vote for an HBO or even an HBO/Showtime thread, even though I (sadly) don't have HBO at the moment.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

More like a cross-poster who cross-posts.

The midnite x-poster what x-posts at midnite.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I will admit to annoyance at Deadwood posts in the movie thread. Not offended, but annoyed.

have we actually offended cineastic posters? Or is that hypothetical?

The talk in movies doesn't bother me, though I do get a little of the "New posts! Oh, just Deadwood talk," but that just makes me want to watch Deadwood.

Suddenly filled with craving to hear McShane say "bullshit consensus"

Heh, now so am I. Also "dead like a thing that is dead".

Well, I just wanted to know...sometimes I wouldn't notice. The Daves have made me their bitch and stuff. It does kind of leave Natter as The Place to Talk about Sandwiches. Not that that's all bad, but... Frank, that would probably be "dead like a *fucking* thing that is dead." and bwah!

Exactly how I feel about some of the TV talk in Natter. Granted, mostly because I don't watch the reality shows that get discussed there, and don't really have an interest. Very mild annoyance, though, and sometimes relief if I'm playing catch-up in Natter.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I do get a little of the "New posts! Oh, just Deadwood talk," but that just makes me want to watch Deadwood.

Sean is me.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I like the HBO posts in Movies -- it seems like the right place for them. (Of course, that might be just that I'm used to them being there now.)

Personally, I also like having TV talk all over the place, because it forces people to check out threads they might not otherwise go into. It fosters community, or something. (Note: the previous two sentences were pulled directly out of my ass, and should not be assumed to have actual supporting data behind them.)

All that said, however, I'd not be averse to a Premium Channel Boxed Set.
