Going by past experience, it might be better to propose a show-specific new thread.
That might work better. Unfortunately, right now there's just enough white font to have the potential to annoy some people, but not enough to suggest that any one show could support an entire thread.

Dude...before we vote, (hands in peaches) Because the first time Deadwood had a town meeting, Al accidentally brought canned peaches and the meeting went really well. So now the peaches are lucky. (Suddenly filled with craving to hear McShane say "bullshit consensus") Whatever you guys want to do is fine, have we actually offended cineastic posters? Or is that hypothetical?ETA: At some points, I've thought that Deadwood could support a thread because some of y'all sure do like taking things apart, but with only a few eps for the season, it might be good to have it be more HBO-general.

I will admit to annoyance at Deadwood posts in the movie thread. Not offended, but annoyed.

The talk in movies doesn't bother me, though I do get a little of the "New posts! Oh, just Deadwood talk," but that just makes me want to watch Deadwood.

Well, I just wanted to know...sometimes I wouldn't notice. The Daves have made me their bitch and stuff. It does kind of leave Natter as The Place to Talk about Sandwiches. Not that that's all bad, but... Frank, that would probably be "dead like a *fucking* thing that is dead." and bwah!
