Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Pudding works too, IJS, just to torment DX.

Pudding was fine by me, even if I didn't get the joke. It's just that it was used in eleventy bazillion different combinations, and now the joke (that I didn't get in the first place) has worn so thin that I really don't want to be looking at it as a thread title every day for the next year or so. The whole cranky "Holy fuck, can we name this thread before I kill myself with a cheese grater?" thing applies.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Just logging another vote for "Development Hell".

Or maybe "Development Hellmouth" to make a Buffy connection?

Ann, that's a ferret.

"Holy fuck, can we name this thread before I kill myself with a cheese grater?"

Folks, we have a title for Natter 43.

Art Crawl!!!

I've been getting Spam messages on the buffistas yahoo list. I don't know that anything can be done about that other than to restrict membership.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What is the Buffistas yahoo list? Do you mean one of our regional mailing lists?

Yeah, I was getting them, too. I just set it so that it didn't send me e-mail anymore. It's not like we use the list anymore.

We've been getting more and more spam on the b.org addresses, too.

eta:

What is the Buffistas yahoo list?

It's the old Yahoo group jengod set up back when we were on TT for use when TT crashed.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Hey, I have a dumb question. Is there a reason why Boxed Set is not NAFDA?

As the default, unwhitefonted post-show discussion thread for a number of ongoing shows, it would seem to be, sometimes at least, the equivalent of a show-thread like Veronica Mars or Lost. But those threads are NAFDA and Boxed Set is not.

Not doubting the designation; certainly there hasn't been much chafing about that of late. Just curious.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think it's not NAFDA so much as it's not labelled NAFDA. The practice is identical, no? Hell, Bitches is NAFDA.
