Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

What is even happening?

Not to mention a fair assessment of naming this thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Development Hell is...apropos. Not particularly time sensitive, but apropos.

Also puts me in mind of An Alan Smithee Thread.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Having suggested "In Development," I'll sign on for "Development Hell."

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

Is it time to resubmit Number 5 is Alive?
I'd have done it if you hadn't.

I can't even.

Development Hell is an excellent title. In fact, it even edges out my second favourite, "Holy fuck, can we name this thread before I kill myself with a cheese grater?", but maybe I need to go for decaf for a week or so.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Development Hell works for me. I like the thematic continuity with the past threads.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Pudding works too, IJS, just to torment DX.

Pudding was fine by me, even if I didn't get the joke. It's just that it was used in eleventy bazillion different combinations, and now the joke (that I didn't get in the first place) has worn so thin that I really don't want to be looking at it as a thread title every day for the next year or so. The whole cranky "Holy fuck, can we name this thread before I kill myself with a cheese grater?" thing applies.
