I look more rad than Lutheranism

I ate Principal Flutie!

And he tasted great!

Just like chicken!

What we really want to know is if you got it on with Pack!Xander.

Nummy treat.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm amused at the thought of activist bling. It's just so ridiculous. It would be made of plastic and have a red blink light.

No no, that's the activist power center. (Smash it and she becomes a lurker!)

Maybe it should be called the inactive activist bitch cabal?

orthe "are you serious?" cabal.

another good example of how different senses of humor exist.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Weren't you just arguing a few weeks ago about humor and how we as a board shouldn't legislate what people find funny or unfunny? I mean, wasn't that what that interminable sock puppet conversation was about?

Why, yes, Kat, in fact I said in that VERY POST that I wouldn't want to legislate it. So why even "argue" the point?

But in this instance, you do want us to stop because you don't find it funny, but I'd argue at least 4 people posting around you do.

I'm expressing my opinion is that its not funny for someone in the de facto power structure to joke that there is no de facto power structure. I get to do that.

What is even happening?

No no, that's the activist power center. (Smash it and she becomes a lurker!)

That's right. Just ix-nay on the yptonite-kray.

oh bringing up old discussions where we feel wronged. awesome.

and just ftr, no one was trying to "legislate" what people posted, just having multiple log-ins. - totally different head - and the measure would not have passed anyway.

There was head?

Arguably, joking about it is bringing it up, now isn't it?

I'm saying I dislike that. Perhapse we agree.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Trudy--I'm afraid I don't understand how the BItch cabal joke is making fun of something serious. The tone of the accusation and the use of the word "cabal" is what people are making fun of, unless I misunderstand. I see you think you are protecting someone or something but I can't figure out who. Teppy and whoever else the post was going on about were the victims in that scenario. And I can't see who has "power" on this board, except the stompies and we gave them that. How does anyone have power over you or anyone? There are folks whose opinions one might pay more attention to, or folks one might think are funnier (You, for example, can be one of the funniest posters here when you are on a roll) and for me funny is great, so you have more power over my enjoyment than a duller poster, but there's no way around that, is there?
