The odd thing is that I was just in the middle of a watch and post, and we started debating serial commas and quotation marks. I was this close to saying something about "conversation #67" when I remembered I was over at the Dodgers blog I post on, not here.

Me, I'd just slip "originally" in at the start of the existing blurb. The list of threads below pretty much indicates we don't do just that anymore.
This is almost exactly what I was gonna say. Except I'd make it "A community originally dedicated..."
I also like Allyson's, so either of those are good with me.
