Do we have room for "Rules & Etiquette" instead of "Rules/Etiquette"? In this case, the slash implications are disturbing even to me.Has anyone checked amy's Buffista Passport, lately? It's like I don't even know her.
It's the incest squick. I'll note that I have nothing against, say, Etiquette/Grammar.
Jon, I can easily sit down and squash Rules and Etiquette into one Don't Do That! Do That Other Thing! document. I remember with the first draft of the lawspeak there was a lot of redundancy we cut out, so it would basically be putting the redundancy back in again and reinserting it.
be putting the redundancy back in again
"Now with more redundancy extra!"
msbelle's currently working on assembling the votes results into a rules document -- prefacing that with a "how we vote" seems sensical. I think rolling the etiquette into that is a bit much, though. A lot of stuff.
I remember with the first draft of the lawspeak there was a lot of redundancy we cut out, so it would basically be putting the redundancy back in again and reinserting it.Because redundancy is what Buffistas do best. Also, of the things Buffistas do, redundancy is that at which we're best.
So are we also good at doing the same thing again and again?
Wait. The Rules should be WAY less prominent than the Etiquette. People need to not be assholes every day, but hardly anyone has to put forth a proposal.
What jesse said, and not just to be redundant.
