You know, handful of people had fun for an hour or so playing a game/having a conversation. Sometimes that happens. On every darn thread. Some things aren't fun for every single person. Some of us, for example, don't give a hoot about TAR or dinner plans in LA. Big freakin' deal. Skip the discussion. Get over it.

Shooting down a discussion one doesn't "like" -- be it about christiantiy or teaching or cats or diets or a silly game that would have been gone at the end of the day is getting to be an annoying theme around here lately.

Then we go back channel and get all earnest in our Live Journals and the board dies for a day or two. It's absurd. It's decidedly un-fun.

So I guess I'd need to prove my name? Desiging Noise seems to be a bit of an abstract concept. Hell, my parents don't even understand what I do and they've seen my shows.

I count Wolfram, Jessica, ita, msbelle. That's four.

The abstract concept was a stupid extension, and I withdraw it.

For the record, I think there's a big difference between pretending to be someone else and making a joke. I thought the Universe and March were funny. Obviously it pushes buttons for some people, but some of the other jokes and topics of discussion push buttons for me, too. I'm just sad that something that was obviously intended to be just for fun is turning into a debate. I don't really have much more to say about it than that.

The first the universe post said "long-time lurking newbie".... which made me assume it was true. I didn't realize it was really a sockpuppet until the end. Saying newbie and not being one bothered me--but then, Hec's going to sell me swampland soon. He promised.

I see major differences between boring-to-some topics of conversation, and sockpuppets. But I don't want to be cross-posting, so I'll wait for Lightbulbs.
