Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

If the west coasters want to be able to jump in the thread and comment without fear of spoiling during their airtime,

Are there west coasters who want this? I haven't taken a poll but I don't. ND doesn't. I think caveat lector is the simplest, easiest way. I appreciate the spoiler sensitivity on this board, but it's not the be-all. Discussion is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I appreciated it greatly. But I fear that the opening of the thread to more shows is going to make it unworkable for me in general, so it'd be a straw for a drowning poster.

Not so far as I've seen voicing an opinion here yet (ETA: except for ita, but even then with a caveat). Which means it'll likely just go balckfont, which is fine. In fact, I deleted the "Though, by my read, there isn't a lot of clamoring for this from the west coasters. Is there, er, silent clamoring going on?" from my post, because the whole point of this is for people to chime in with their opinions, so I didn't need to ask again.

I think there's going to need to be some new quality (or snarkable) sci-fi/fantasy television before there's going to be any new shows turning up in there. About the only thing I can think of will be the new Dr. Who. And I suspect conversation about any shows like that would have ended up there anyway.

It seemed like the re-purposing was more to make the description accurate to how the thread's being used currently - I didn't see a lot of clamoring for discussion of shows that weren't already being discussed in there.

And, as noted upthread, it was already unwieldy for me. Now that there's no chance of it going back to workable, I'm not going to bother to keep subscribed.

All is well that ends in pizza.

About the only thing I can think of will be the new Dr. Who.

Speaking of which, an episode of the new Dr. Who has leaked, and is currently being torrented. Not that anyone I know would do such a thing.

It just might come up sooner than anticipated, is my point.

But that would definitely be a white-font situation (unaired in the US, etc.).

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Our policy has never been to discuss unaired episodes of any show in blackfont, except in Spoilers.

t edit or what Frank said.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

This west coaster is perfectly happy to let discussion go blackfont as soon as the show's aired on the east coast.
